The Margaret River Wine Region has it all: stunning beaches, fine dining, boutique shops and of course internationally renowned wineries. For the energetic person there are many caves to visit and cycle trails and bush walks to do, as well as horse riding, canoeing and whale watching. For the nature loving person, there are wildflowers to photograph and twitching to be done as well.
Please ask Pam and Dirk and they will be happy to advise on any of these activities. We will provide you with a map and an itinerary suited to your requirements. We can also provide tour information and book tours for you.
Weather:
Margaret River has a "Mediterranean" climate with hot, dry summers and cool wet winters. Most of our rain falls from June, July and August in short showers then long periods of cool but sunny weather. Temperatures in summer reach the mid to high 30's but the evenings can get cool so still bring a jumper or jacket. In winter the daytime temperatures are in the mid to low 20's but can get colder during a storm and at night time it can get quite freezing at around 5 deg C. For the latest weather information you can go to http://www.bigpond.com/weather/ and enter in the post code of Margaret River, which is 6285. This will give you current conditions and forecasts.
For more detail you could try the Latest Weather Observations at Witchcliffe which is located less than 10km away.
Longer range forecasts can be got from Intellicast’s 10 Day Forecast for BUNBURY.
