For the energetic person there are many caves to visit and cycle trails and bush walks to do, as well as horse riding, canoeing and whale watching. Weather: Margaret River has a "Mediterranean"  climate with hot, dry summers and cool wet winters.  Most of our rain falls from June, July and August in short showers then long periods of cool but sunny weather.  Temperatures in summer reach the mid to high 30's but the evenings can get cool so still bring a jumper or jacket.  In winter the daytime temperatures are in the mid to low 20's but can get colder during a storm and at night time it can get quite freezing at around 5 deg C.
