Wedding Packages: 

Loaring Place B&B is an ideal location for a wedding in a beautiful bush setting.  We can cater for groups of up to 40 people for a sit down meal in the lounge area and we have a large lawn area that can be used for a marque where we can cater for groups up to 100 people.  Margaret River has several catering establishments and hire firms that can provide all requirements to ensure a successful and memorable wedding.  There are also specialist wedding organisers here in Margaret River that can take care of all the organisation details.

We would be happy to liaise with these organisations to make your planning easier.  Ideally all four rooms would need to be booked out for two nights (eg. Friday and Saturday) to enable setting up and clearing away which would otherwise disturb other guests.  But what a wonderful weekend it will be!

Corporate Functions: 

Loaring Place B&B has a large guest lounge area that can be re-arranged as a meeting room and there is a 52in LCD that can be connected to a computer that is sufficiently bright for daylight presentations.  Meals and drinks can also be arranged and there are many team-building or recreational activities provided by professional organisations in the region that can be arranged, including buses for transport. 

Physical activities include canoeing, golfing, cave exploring, MTB riding, trekking, Dirt Buggy riding and other special excursions, all guided by experienced professionals.

A popular group recreational activity is a wine tasting tour including going behind the scenes and having a wine maker describe the process.  You may even have a chance to blend your own wine.  Tours can also include going to up to five breweries that are close by.  Lunch at one of the many fabulous vineyard restaurants is usually part of these tours.  All of our guests who go on these tours have thoroughly enjoyed them as the tour operators are very knowledgeable and build up a great atmosphere on the bus as they travel to the different vineyards.  Most guests come back with several cases of wine that they have discovered and a greater appreciation of the Margaret River Wine Region. 

But our guests also come back with new friends they have met on the bus and often the whole group will go out for a meal that night.  This shows that a wine tasting tour is a very good means of breaking down barriers and creating new bonds between people.
